Do you want to spend your vacation in nature with other outdoor enthusiasts? Then our Surf and Climbing Camp in Portugal is just right for you. Join us in Praia das Maças and choose from activities such as surfing, climbing, bouldering, or a combination of them. You’ll become part of the SaltyWay family for a week, with our self-catering house as your home. Together, we head to the beach for surfing or to the climbing and bouldering spots daily. Additionally, twice a week, we offer yoga lessons on our yoga deck with a sea view.
Our surf house is located near Sintra, Lisbon, just a few steps away from the beach.

How can I imagine my stay at the SaltyWay Surf camp and Climb camp in Portugal?
Your adventure at SaltyWay begins with a pick-up at Portela de Sintra train station (How to get there?). In our beautiful surf lodge, you have the option to stay in one of the cozy 2-person dorms or the 6-bed dorm. The atmosphere is relaxed and familial. From Monday to Friday, we’ll take you to climbing or surf lessons. We usually surf at Praia Grande (5 minutes away) or, if it’s too big for us, at Carcavelos (45 minutes drive). For climbing or bouldering, we’ll drive you to the best spots in the area (20 to 30 minutes drive). On weekends or after lessons, we’re happy to take you for free surfing at the beach or bouldering in the Sintra forest. We want you to climb and surf as much as you like! We provide surfboards and crash pads. You can bring your own climbing shoes, if you have them.
Twice a week, our yoga instructor comes to the house and conducts a yoga session on our fantastic yoga platform. A highlight during your week at SaltyWay is our weekly Pizza Night, where we collectively bake pizza in the in-house pizza oven. Despite all these activities, there’s still plenty of time to explore the area, hike (there’s nothing better than hiking to Cabo de Roca at sunset), cook together, or simply relax in the hammock in the garden.
